Jelling Kro is a traditional inn of royal privilege from 1820. The Corner Room offers views to the Jelling Monuments – the burial mounts and church. The welcoming family inn offers delicious a la carte menus and special menus of the day. Beers and beverages are also served.

Jelling Kro dates back to 1773 when wayside farms were given royal privilege as inns – in fact it was not only a privilege but also a duty at the time. The inn itself along with the Jelling Monuments were heritage listed in 1947.

Jelling Kro is a coaching inn offering lunch menus until 15:30 and evening dining between 17:00 and 20:30. Coffee, tea, cake and ice cream desserts during all opening hours. During summer months the restaurant offers outdoor service.

Jelling Kro has two banquet rooms: Runesalen (The Runic Hall) that seats 100 guests and Havestuen (The Conservatory) that seats 45 diners. Apart from private functions and events the banquet rooms also host seminars and public lectures.
