With a depth of up to 11 metres, Fårup Sø is one of the area’s deepest lakes. The river of Grejs Å takes its rise from the angling lake, which is a distinct perch lake, but also has roach, bream, pike, sea trout and eel.

Angling is permitted from the jetty at the eastern end of the lake or from a boat, which can be rented at Fårup Sø Kiosk og Bådudlejning (kiosk and boat rental). You are not permitted to row in your own boat on the lake. Guests are requested not to trespass, and angling from the lakeside is therefore not permitted. There are picnic tables and benches by the lake.

Only the national angling fishing licence is required.
