Autumn transforms Billund and the surrounding area into a colourful playground of pumpkins, creative activities and outdoor adventures. Across LEGOLAND® Billund Resort, families can enjoy child-friendly Halloween experiences, seasonal attractions and days out in Billund, Vejle, Kolding and Fredericia.
Pumpkin-filled theme parks, Halloween fun, wildlife encounters, treetop adventures and cosy autumn experiences await families across LEGOLAND® Billund Resort this autumn. From late September and throughout October, attractions across the destination invite visitors to enjoy everything from Brick or Treat and monster dance parties to Halloween LEGO® builds, safari adventures, underground caves and adventures high among the treetops.
The autumn fun continues across several nearby attractions. Families can create seasonal LEGO® builds at LEGO® House, climb among golden leaves at WOW PARK and explore GIVSKUD ZOO in the cooler weather, when a walk between the animals feels very different from a summer visit. Each attraction gives the season its own character, so families can combine creative indoor play with fresh-air adventures.

2nd October – 1st November
Step into a colourful Halloween universe when LEGOLAND® Billund fills the park with thousands of pumpkins, quirky characters and family-friendly Halloween fun.
Throughout October, families can build LEGO® pumpkins, meet colourful Halloween characters, enjoy seasonal treats and discover Halloween activities around the park. Dress up if you like and get ready for an autumn day filled with LEGO play, entertainment and just the right amount of gentle shivers.
Halloween highlights during the autumn half-term
During the Danish autumn half-term, LEGOLAND stays open until 9 pm, giving families extra time to explore the park and experience Halloween after dark.
Look out for:
• Brick or Treat – follow the trail, meet unusual Halloween creatures and collect sweet surprises along the way.
• V.I.M. Dance Party – become a Very Important Monster and join Lord Vampyre and Wolfguy on the monster dance floor.
• Halloween characters – meet Frankenstein and the Mummy at Scary Stage in LEGOREDO® Town and stop for a fun family photo.
• The Great Monster Chase – experience a Halloween adventure on the big screen, with 4D effects bringing the action into the cinema.
• LEGO® pumpkin building – create a round, wonky or wildly imaginative pumpkin and add it to the growing pumpkin patch in the LEGOLAND Gallery.
• The Singing Pumpkins – test your vocal cords with one of the park’s more unusual Halloween encounters.
• Halloween fireworks – round off the day with a festive fireworks show as Halloween lights up the park after dark.
• Halloween food and treats – take a seasonal break between rides and activities with special Halloween treats around the park.
Join the Halloween Run on 30th October
Lace up your trainers, put on your best Halloween costume and run through the Halloween-lit park together. From 5–7.30 pm on 30th October, children and adults can take on a 1.2 km family Halloween Run, with four extra Halloween zones bringing fun, surprises and a few gentle shivers along the way.
A ticket costs DKK 49 per person and includes a chicken sandwich, water, a medal and badge, and a cup of hot chocolate with green whipped cream. There is also a prize for the best costume.
Please note that you will also need a valid LEGOLAND admission ticket or Season Pass to take part in the run.
Plan your Halloween visit
LEGOLAND is open on most days throughout October, but opening days and hours vary. Most days the park is open from 10 am–6 pm, with extended opening hours during the Danish autumn half-term.

25th September – 1st November
Step inside the Home of the Brick for a Halloween filled with LEGO® creativity, playful ghosts and family fun. Throughout the Halloween season, families can hunt for hidden ghosts, create their own Halloween characters and films, and add their creations to a shared haunted house.
It is all indoors, making LEGO House an easy Halloween adventure whatever the autumn weather brings.
Halloween activities for the whole family
Explore the Experience Zones and discover Halloween activities where building, storytelling and imagination take centre stage:
• Go on a ghost hunt – hidden LEGO ghosts have taken over World Explorer in the Green Zone. Explore together and see if you can find them all.
• Dress up and get a Halloween gift – children arriving in costume with a ticket to the Experience Zones or LEGO Masters Academy can collect a special Halloween gift from Information in LEGO Square.
• Make your own Halloween film – build a monster, ghost or other Halloween creature and bring it to life in a stop-motion film at Story Lab in the Green Zone.
• Build for the Haunted House – head to the Red Zone and use the special Halloween brick mix to build a pumpkin, ghost or fantastical creature. Add your creation to the Haunted House and become part of a growing collaborative Halloween build.
• See LEGO House light up – from 1st October–1st November, the House glows in warm Halloween colours, adding an extra touch of autumn atmosphere to your visit.
Halloween face painting on 17th & 31st October
Add the finishing touch to your Halloween look when Glimmer-Marie visits LEGO House on 17th and 31st October from 10 am–5 pm.
Children can have their faces transformed with creative LEGO-inspired Halloween designs, combining costumes, colour and creativity for an extra-special Halloween day.
Trick or Treat on 31st October
Put on your favourite costume and join the Halloween fun in LEGO Square. From 3–6 pm on 31st October, families can stop by for Halloween sweets, high fives and plenty of festive atmosphere.
It is an easy extra Halloween experience to add to a day of building and exploring LEGO House.
HalloWOW: 10th–18th October
Head into the forest for an autumn adventure when HalloWOW comes to WOW PARK Billund. Explore the park high above and below ground, with giant suspended nets, underground caves, enormous swings, climbing walls and obstacle courses surrounded by autumn colours and a playful touch of Halloween.
And keep your eyes open along the way. Some slightly creepy spiders have moved into the forest for HalloWOW!
Extra autumn fun from 10th–18th October
During the Danish autumn half-term, there is even more to discover:
• Build & create with nature – use natural materials to make your own unique creation and take it home as a souvenir from the forest.
• Free pancakes over the fire – every day from 3–4 pm, children can enjoy a freshly made pancake cooked over an open fire. One free pancake per child, while stocks last.
• Campfire time – gather around the fire and make Danish snobrød, popcorn and s’mores for a cosy autumn break between adventures.
• Explore above and below ground – race through the treetop nets, discover underground caves, soar through the forest on giant swings and put your balance and teamwork to the test on the obstacle courses.
• Take on GIGANTEN – looking for an extra rush? Challenge Scandinavia’s tallest free-fall slide towers and feel your stomach flutter on the way down.

10th–18th October
Fascinating, colourful and sometimes frightening. During the Danish autumn half-term, GIVSKUD ZOO turns the spotlight on venomous and poisonous animals from Denmark and around the world.
Meet snakes, poison dart frogs, scorpions and other intriguing creatures, and discover just how poisonous, venomous or dangerous they really are. Around the zoo, Halloween decorations add an extra touch of autumn atmosphere, while creative activities and a treasure hunt make it easy for the whole family to join the fun.
For an extra-special start to the day, book Good Morning Zoo and visit selected animal houses before the zoo opens.

Say good morning or goodnight to the animals
Want to get even closer? Every day during the autumn half-term, GIVSKUD ZOO opens the doors to selected animal houses both before the zoo opens and before closing time.
Hop aboard the safari bus for Good Morning Zoo or Goodnight Zoo and join an educational tour behind the scenes. Along the way, you can meet animals including rhinos at unusually close range and discover what happens in the animal houses outside normal opening hours.
Good Morning Zoo and Goodnight Zoo must be booked online. The experience includes admission to the zoo for the rest of the day, and annual pass holders receive a 50% discount.
Make a day of it
Between the autumn activities, explore GIVSKUD ZOO by car and on foot, join the popular animal feeding sessions and make time for the zoo’s playgrounds and exhibitions.

2nd October – 1st November 2026
Halloween takes over the Plaza at Lalandia Billund, with glowing lights, grinning pumpkins and playful surprises waiting around the corners. Families can combine the Halloween atmosphere with creative activities, seasonal treats and plenty of indoor fun throughout their visit.

Take a break from the Aquadome and explore some of the autumn and Halloween activities around Lalandia:
• Explore the Halloween decorations – wander through the Plaza and discover atmospheric lighting, grinning pumpkins and Halloween surprises along the way.
• Make your own sweets – join a traditional Danish sweet-making workshop and help create colourful handmade sweets.
• Get creative – settle in for seasonal arts and crafts and make something to take home.
• Try mermaid swimming – swap Halloween creatures for mermaid tails and dive into an imaginative underwater adventure.
• Taste Halloween treats – special Halloween dishes appear on the menus, alongside colourful children’s drinks and a Halloween soft serve.

Even dinner gets a Halloween twist. Children can tuck into playfully named dishes such as Flies in Vampire Sauce, Frankenstein’s Favourite and Little Bones and Zombie Snacks.
